Product Variations Monitor - How to find and fix broken variations?

Find out how you can use the Variations Monitor to find broken variations quickly and fix them

*Please note: the video depicts an older version of the Variations Monitor, but it provides details about the basic functions that remain the same.*

💡Quick info:

You can use the Product Variations Monitor to find broken variations. Find a walk-through here

Please note: In order to use the Variations Monitor, you have to upload an identifier per Child ASIN in the column "Additional Parent ASIN" in your catalog in emax digital. The identifier can be an actual Parent ASIN, but can be any word or combination of characters.

Step 1

Go to the Product Variations Monitor and check whether you have any broken variations. To see which Child ASIN <> Parent ASIN combinations are broken, you can use the filter "Variation Status": "Broken". This is the default filter setting. Find the details in the table below.

Step 2

You can download the table as an Excel file and send it to the Amazon Support either through a ticket or your account manager at Amazon, depending on your support level.

TIPP: You can also request a template from Amazon to fix broken variations through their ticket system. This will help the support to solve the issues faster.
