Where to find the Seller Visibility Analysis

You can find the Seller Visibility analysis in your Analytics Hub, under Seller > Performance.

The Visibility Analysis helps you to understand how much "digital shelf space" your products are occupying in Amazon's search results. The amount of digital shelf space is described as "Visibility Share" for either "Organic" or "Paid" search results.

It is important to monitor the visibility of your products in search results because products that are not visible to customers cannot be bought. You can monitor the Visibility Share of your products either for a set of keywords or on individual keyword level and you can use the Seller Visibility analysis to understand whether your share of digital shelf space is increasing or decreasing.

Walkthrough

 Seller Visibility - Stage 1 of 2
In the Seller Visibility - Stage 1 of 2, based on the filter applied for the placement type, you get a comprehensive overview of your visibility share development grouped by your generic, branded, and competitor keywords, next to your Ad Spend from Sponsored Ads for the tracked keywords.
You can easily switch between "Paid" and "Organic" visibility by using the dropdown in the filter section.
Additionally, you can immediately identify the number of ASINs found for the tracked keywords, telling you how many of your products are visible on Amazon's search result pages for the tracked keywords.

Seller Visibility - Stage 2 of 2

In the Seller Visibility - Stage 2 of 2, you can analyze your organic or paid visibility share on keyword segment (Branded, Generic, Competitor) and individual keyword level.

Additionally, you can see Amazon's search frequency rank for each keyword to determine its relevance in your keyword strategy. Remember, Amazon's search frequency rank shows which keywords are used more often by customers in Amazon Search versus others, and you can use the ranking to prioritize keywords based on your objectives.

We also provide insights into your ad spend for each keyword based on the Search Term report from Sponsored Ads. By correlating ad spend with the visibility share, you gain a deeper understanding of why you might not be as visible on certain keywords as you could be. Through that you can identify opportunities to optimize your advertising budget and improve your overall visibility in Amazon's search result pages.

Avg. SFR (Average Search Frequency Rank): A relative ranking metric reported by Amazon, which indicates the popularity of a search term in Amazon Search on a scale from 1 - 600.000 (or higher), whereas 1 = most popular; 600.000 (or higher) = less popular.

How we calculate your Average Visibility Share

Visibility Share
The Visibility Share gives you a metric to monitor how visible your products are on Amazon's search result pages. The Visibility Share is calculated as a share (in percent) of your own products versus the total number of products (i.e. each ASIN) in the organic and paid search results for the tracked keywords. Each ASIN in your catalog counts towards "your products" while every ASIN that appears on any search result counts toward the "total number of products".

Visibility Share = (Number of your ASINs / Total Number of ASINs) * 100

The metric is then segmented by placement type (paid and organic), and individual keyword level and can be filtered for various characteristics.

Visibility Share Trend
Visibility Share Trend compares the Visibility Share for the selected time range automatically with the Visibility Share of the previous time range (i.e. if you select "Monthly" we will show the trend versus the "Previous Month"; for "Weekly" we will show the trend versus the "Previous Calendar Week").
